codesimian.JavaField
public class JavaField
Wrapper-class for a java.lang.reflect.Field, a dynamicly-accessed variable of a Java Object.
CodeSimian code: javaField('java.lang.System.out' 0) can be GET as type java.io.PrintStream,
but you cant set it because that Field is FINAL. The 0 is where an instance object would normaly go,
but since the Field is STATIC, there is no instance. More examples of code are needed to explain this...
An other example of CodeSimian code: javaField('out' javaField('java.lang.System' 0)).
javaField('java.lang.System' 0) should return a Class object, which through further reflection,
you can determine it has a Field called "out", and you can GET or SET it by the outer javaField.
But what I really meant to say is that only the Field's name (not the name of its class) is necessary,
even if the second parameter does not evaluate to a Class object
because all Java objects have a getClass() function.
Later, add something similar to JAVABEANS to this class...
If the Field is not public or doesnt exist, look for a Java Method (function)
starting with "get" or "set" and ending with the field's name.
For example: if java.lang.System.out didnt exist, and you tried to GET it,
it would look for java.lang.System.getOut().
This CS should be able to be GET or SET as a Field and the Java type the Field encapsulates.

findField(java.lang.String packageThenClassThenFieldName)

java.lang.String |
keyword()
For the CodeSimian language as a String. CodeSimian language keyword, like "+" "*" "max" ">" etc. Override this function if you want to specify a keyword other than how I derive them from the class name, like + for Add. Some CSs might never be intended to be used in the language by their keyword. The best example (4/05) is Num, because it is used in the language like "3.4" instead of "num()". |
int |
minP()
For DForProxy(). Minimum number of parameters in param[] needed to call DForProxy(). Defines which indexs of param[] DForProxy() can use. Functions with a different number of parameters must override this. OVERRIDE THIS FUNCTION IF EXEC USES A DIFFERENT NUMBER OF PARAMETERS. Default is 1. |
